Mount Vernon is in Washington, in the Pacific Northwest, where winters are mild and wet, summers are dry and pleasant, and outdoor recreation drives a lot of local business; hours change little through the year. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Mount Vernon follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

OMG Becky at Whidbey Island Bagel Factory is absolutely worth the stop! The bagels are amazing, and they have some really good cream cheese options to go along with them. Every time you walk in, you’re greeted with a smile and a friendly welcome, which makes the experience even better. Depending on when you visit, some of the bagel options may be a little limited, but that’s honestly just because they’re so popular and sell through a lot of bagels. It’s not the kind of busy where you’ll be standing in a huge line forever — they just move a lot of product. I highly recommend checking them out if you’re passing through the area or live nearby and haven’t tried them yet. I actually drive about 45 minutes up from the south just to pick up a dozen bagels to have throughout the week. Definitely one of those places that’s worth making the trip for!

The bagel was a great texture. Unfortunately, the rosemary bagel was covered in so much salt that the bagel was one of the saltiest things I have eaten. I feel like some of the staff could use more training. I watched one person wearing gloves touch a bunch of surfaces like the door, and come back to touching the bagels immediately. The woman at the cash register also told someone that there was nothing dairy free and they left, but the bagels are marked as vegan. I would try again because the texture is nice

A few months ago I would have given this a 5 star all day long. I’m an out of towner and I ALWAYS come here for the Heart Attack bagel. It hurts me to say, it has changed ownership back in August and My Heart Attack bagel isn’t what it used to be. The Bagels themselves are the same. But the REAL STAR of the show, the in-house made sausage, sadly has been modified. I came in on Sunday, noticed immediately, worried it was a fluke, but then came in again this morning. The patty is now thinner and smaller, but the WORST part is the recipe has changed. It’s not the dense, bursting with flavor sausage it once was. The new name is now OMG Becky’s, and I beg you Becky to bring back the sausage how it was! Please don’t turn this into a “OMG Becky Ruined it” I would happily pay another .50 or a dollar more to have the better quality sausage and all its glory! I’ll even brainstorm with you on how to make more money for the business. Please please just revert it back 🙏🏻 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Favorite bagels in the Seattle area!! Coming from the East Coast, I’ve had the privilege of having constant access to great bagels for so long that I forgot how _impossible_ it is to find one on the other coast. However, Whidbey Island Bagels brings the NYC bagel across the country, with a perfectly soft and pillowy interior and delightful crust. I love the wide variety of flavors, but they definitely sell out; come early if you’re hoping for one of their more popular flavors. I, personally, love the rosemary sea salt — it has just the right amount of savoriness and flavor without overpowering the rest of the bagel. I just got it with plain cream cheese, but they have plenty of fun flavors of cream cheese, hummus, peanut butter, and egg sandwich toppings. This place is always bustling, so I’d expect a pretty long line and decent wait. However, the service is as efficient and friendly as can be, and it’s 100% worth the wait and 1-hour drive out of Seattle. Note: The bagels also freeze extremely well, so you can always take a couple dozen home to make the trek more worthwhile :)

Hands down the single best bagel of my life! Black olive and basil bagel with lox, capers and cream cheese. Coffee is decent but expect a darker roast. Staff were super helpful and patient with me as a first time guest. Prices are great for what you get. Highly recommend if you can stop by at least once for the experience. They have sweet and savory bagels as well as a good number of spreads.
